Rimouski is a nondescript town, we really just stopped there to eat and get a night's sleep. We also waited out the bad weather -- a few hours of driving took us to the charming Quebec City on a brilliant Sunday. We first arrived at Levis, where we took the ferry across the St. Lawrence to Quebec City.
Rather hungry, after settling in we walked to a restaurant for some French fare.
On the plaze where we dined, there were some musicians playing, this is one dressed up like a pirate.
The city is full of charm, we walked from lower town to upper town, then around the citade, taking it all in.
A modernistic statue.
But the best view of the city is at dusk, when it starts to glow.
A final shot of the Chateau Frontenac, a Canadian national historical site operated as a hotel, which is also the most dominating landmark of the city.
