Like all good things, our road trip must come to an end. There were good days and bad bays (weather-wise), but even the bad days -- when we seemed to be driving in the endless rain -- weren't so bad as long as you are on the road, and the good days were glorious.
The Upper Falls of Taughannock Fall are dubbed as “one of the largest single-drop waterfalls east of the Rocky Mountains”. Whatever the designation, it is a marvel of a waterfall.
Our last stop was at Cornell University.
In my opinion one of the most picturesque campus in the United States.
Then it was the long way home.
On this day we were heading home. But first, we made a stop at Taughannock Falls State Park in Upper State New York. We took the trail along Taughannock Creek toward the waterfalls.
