2018 trip to Ecuador (mainland)
In May and June 2018 we spent 18 days in Ecuador. We spent part of the time in the Galapagos and the rest of the time in mainland Ecuador. It is really one big trip to the country of Ecuador. But because the two parts are very different, and our focus was also different in these two segments of the trip -- the focus was almost exclusively on nature in the Galapagos, and more toward the cultural and historic side in the mainland -- I think it makes sense to create two separate trip pages.
The organization of these pages are also different: for the Galapagos portion, the pages are organized chronically (one per day), whereas for the mainland portion, it makes more sense to organize them geographically (one per location). Regardless, I hope you enjoy these pages.
