Cape Cod

We did not spend much time on Cape Cod this time -- we spent one weekend in Cape Cod, and one of these days we went to Nantucket, so the only time we spent there was in Hyannis in a motel, and before we left, a hike on Nauset Marsh Trail.

The most we got to see in Hyannis was the harbor and lighthouse, from the ferry to Nantucket. (Click on each image to see the high-resolution version)

On our last day in Cape Cod -- and on this trip -- we went to Keltic Kitchen in West Yarmouth for breakfast. The picture below is the sand sculpture, I believe, of the restaurant sign outside.

Unfortunately, this breakfast proved to be rather costly -- not in terms of money but opportunity -- this being Independence Day, even before 10AM, the parking lot at Nauset Beach was full. We could not get on the beach! Instead, we took the Nauset Marsh Trail.

This would be our last stop on the cape. We could take solace that four years ago, we spent much more time here.
