In the city
I really began to love the city of Seattle (at least when it's sunny and warm)! Many time we walked in the city after work, and more than once from downtown toward Chinatown through Pioneer Square.

There are erected a few totem poles and totem pole like statues in Pioneer Square, reminding us of the Northwest's Native American heritage.
And there are statues commemorating firefighters.
A few more pictures taken in Pioneer Square. It is a nice place to walk around, eat, drink and just relax.
Street scenes from the city.
Chinatown, where we had dinner a few times.
One day we walked by Century Link Field, where the Seattle Sounders were playing a game.
1201 Third Avenue building, formerly known as the Washington Mutual Building, is one of the nicer buildings in downtown Seattle.
The Hammering Man outside Seattle Art Museum, fun to watch him slowly hammering away.
The highlight of our stay in the city no doubt came when we went to Kerry Park, which offers stunning views of Seattle downtown and environ. We were lucky to have a week of nice weather in the city and to see Mount Rainier glowing in the sunset and the city sparkle when the night came on.
